Develop complete drawing package for multitude of clients based on architectural and structural project drawings/specifications to include layouts, elevations, and detailed piece sections. When applicable, work with engineer to develop reinforcement requirements and incorporate into client submittal. Prepare piece shop drawings from approved submittal package for fabrication while coordinating with all departments from carpentry, through logistics to ensure pieces are produced for shipping in the order and quantity as the client requires. Make any modifications to submittal package and shop drawings as required to reflect as built site conditions for uniform installation and interference avoidance.

Prepared structural framing design drawings and required connection detailing, utilizing both timber and steel framing for small to large residential/commercial projects, ranging from new construction to renovation and rehabilitation.

  • Prepared fabrication drawings and modifications in accordance with industry and company standards.
  • Responded to shop drawing RFIs from detailers, fabricators and erectors.
  • Coordinated with other engineering disciplines, and communicated issues up the chain of command.

  • Implemented file sharing system to facilitate ease of construction documentation transfers between clients and sub-contractors.

Assist instructor with Residential Computer-Aided Design class through lectures and hands-on demonstrations.

  • Assist students with questions they had regarding how to use AutoCAD Architecture and the specific commands that should be used for their desired outcome.
  • Taught lessons on the proper usage of new commands during morning lecture to be utilized during afternoon lab period.
  • Helped students problem solve plotting issues encountered both at the software and hardware levels.

Setup Wordpress based website along with email on a domain that was previously underutilized. Transformed previously used website from a collection of static, unorganized pages into a dynamic site. This facelift allowed for updated content, a news section, and auction/fundraising section that are all easy and more convenient to be updated by the members of the non-profit.

Presque Isle Snowmobile Club ∼ Buck Engineering

Responsible for the floor plan layout along with drafting of all required plans, elevations, and sections to obtain permits and fire marshal approval for new clubhouse construction after previous building was lost to a fire. Worked closely under supervision of structural engineer to fulfill clients vision.

Sinawik House ∼ NMCC & PI Kiwanis Club

Architectural Drafter of Sinawik House Plans #32 & #33


Responsible for the drafting of floor plans, sections, and elevations of a modular house that was later built by carpentry students in the Building Construction Technology program of Northern Maine Community College. The lower-cost houses were made available through a partnership between the Kiwanis Club and Northern Maine Community College.
